Tips on How to Have a Fabulous Life & Relationships from the Fabulous I Am Launch Event!

So for all of you who missed, the Fabulous I Am Launch event was amazing!  Many of you are not in the Charleston, SC area and were unable to attend this amazing event so we want to share just a few of the take-aways with you along with some of the AMAZING picture from our Fabu photography Kel of Kel B Pics Photography kelbpcis.com

You know sometimes life and relationships can be extremely frustrating, disappointing, heart-breaking, abusive, and unfulfilling at times. As humans, we were all created for intimacy and sometimes we look for that intimacy and love in all the wrong places be it in a relationship, clothes, shoes, house, job, degrees, you name it.  I know this to be true because I experienced this in my own life.  I went from one crazy relationship to another crazy relationship.  Seeking a man for things only God could fulfill.

Thank God, I was able to put a stop to this madness. And I did so with three easy steps that I shared at the launch last Saturday and I am going to sharing here with you.

1.) I identified what decisions I was making about my relationship and most importantly why I was making those decisions.  More times than not, we know what is right to do and what is wrong to do.  But sometime we still do what  isn't right.  So we have to dig deep and think why is that so?  So ask yourself right now, why am I doing .....?  Fill in the blank.  Dating a guy that is married or in a relationship, having sex with a man that is not my husband, competing with this chick at work, boasting or having an arrogant spirit about what I got and who I am, skipping out on time with God and the list goes on...Discovering the why helps you to identify the root cause of the problem,

2.) I revisited my values, beliefs and my goals, especially my goals of relationship and family. I evaluated what I was doing that caused certain things in my life or that prevented me from creating the life and the relationship I desired.  I knew I wanted to be married and have a family, but I did not have a system in place for screening out the good guys from the bad ones.  So I created a system/ a screaming process for dating and it all starting with the requirement that any man I dated had to be a Christian.   You can get the complete list for this screaming process by clicking on the free download for Making the Right Choice (which will give you our free subscription of our newsletter)

3.) I boldly decided to make decisions that aligned with my values, my goals of relationships and my goals of family and then I had the nerve to tell other people about my decision!  Telling others first put others on notice about the boundaries I was setting in my life and the line they were expected not to cross.  It also allowed for accountability for others to help me along the way.

I know I am not the only one who struggled with dating and relationships.  It is not easy and we must set standards for what we will tolerate and what we will not.  It is also important that we have a strong spiritual foundation.

These are just a few nuggets we shared at the launch event!  We have so much more we want to share with you!  Plan to join us in Charleston, SC at the 1st Annual Fabulous I Am Women's of God Extravaganza on May 9th and 10th 2014!
